Our story
Degani began at a single bench — one setter, one polisher, and custom orders passed along by word of mouth.
Jewelry, to us, has never been an accessory. It is a memory, a legacy, a moment held in metal and stone. Every piece that leaves the studio carries hand-selected stones, hand-shaped curves, and the patience of a craft passed down through generations.
What started as a workshop built on passion is now a studio where artistry meets precision — and every piece is still finished by the same hands that started it.
Four eras, one bench
The house, year by year
1998–2000
The beginning of a journey
A rented bench in a Toronto workshop. Repairs by day, first custom commissions by night — every early piece sketched, cast and set by one pair of hands.
2001–2007
A vision takes shape
The custom work becomes a name. Degani moves into its own studio, brings casting in-house, and the first engagement rings leave the bench.
2007–2024
Expanding the craft
Bridal becomes the heart of the house — certified centre stones, matched by hand, set for daily wear. The workshop grows; the standard doesn't move.
2024–present
A new era of fine jewelry
Two lines, one studio: Degani in solid gold and certified stones, and DewsDrip — the silver line — with the same hands and the same finish, turned up.
Every stone is set under the same lamp, by the same hands.
